well before you tune it... can you just dyno it first stock then with the header? AND THEN tune and run it again?

Whats your mods currently?

Okay so I measured everything today. the primaries are 45mm, secondaries are 51mm, and collector is 63mm. so u guys think I should keep the header and those two 1/8" deep dents won't cause a big loss in performance?

That would be closer to a 00-01 Ap1 gains for those mods. an 05 Ap2 is really dialed in from the factory so the Vafc won't do as much and the HKS cat back is pretty worthless as far as making power, its more for sound. I wouldn't expect much more then 10hp peak.

There won't be any performance loss from those dimples.

they are a hundred shipped, and i got a dyno. if someone wants some befores and afters, then send paypal me the money for the header, and i will try it out. I am interested as well. I have CAI and single exit exhaust, so this would be a nice touch then VAFC to finish her off nicely. should get a decent amount more power out of her then.

YES! your right! I had already removed the clutch delay valve but unfortunately the damage has already been done. SO i already upgraded to the ACT street setup in hopes to prepare myself for FI.

But out of this whole thing i was just looking around for other options besides going FI which would be using my current mods now.. IN addition to,

Ultimate tuned, AP1 ECU, and 4.77's

I thought taht would be a good setup. I dont care to go crazy fast. But a great daily driver that is reliable. Although the greddy is cheap, the SC seem to be most reliable. But i know nothign about SC's. ONly turbo's

Sent it back. I just realized that not only were the pipes much thinner than the one pictured, the header had a completely different design than the one pictured as well. Hope the new one is much better quality! At least I can get it dyno'd w/ OEM header and 70mm header-back first and then dyno it w/ the new header once it arrives.

ahh sorry you learned the hard way on the clutch, sounds reasonable on your future mods. I think you will be satisfied for a little wile. I would be a little worried about the reliability of the AP1 ECU, but am damn curious how it dynos. let me know once you get it done!

The SC is 100% bolt on, so you can use your factory injectors and even your ultimate or a Vafc2, though not ideal. It goes to show however how well the SC works for an easy, simple and reliable 100hp/75tq peak for a sensible amount of $$. I think this will be my next upgrade when I get bored. I already have a gear reduction with my 225hp to the wheels.
