I have an 07. I test fitted these side diffusers.

Did you guys remove the rear mud guard and/or the 4 rubber grommets underneath of the side of the car to install these side diffusers?
I'm a little bit cautious about getting water in the sides and the car rusting from the inside. I could cut the side diffuser a little so I don't have to remove/cut the mud guards.

Would like to know before I start drilling and removing stuff.

Hey there!

Removal of the mudguards is necessary for proper installation. If you are absolutely concerned about the holes, I would highly suggest spraying some primer over the holes. This will prevent any premature rusting. Great precautionary step though!

Cheers!

when i installed my side diffusers i removed the grommets and just put some instant gasket or even RVT i think wolud work around the outside of the holes, something that will make a good seal but not dry hard. This way it not only will help hold up the diffuser but also seal all the way around the hole to keep dirt and water from getting in there.

You could get them CF wrapped.
