best mods for the money are suspension and tires... drive it a bit and get used to it first..car may seem slow only because to realize its power you need to stay in the powerband..which is high rpms

sorry for thd doublepost im on my celly ... the fact is the powerband is so high in the rpm range that your first instinct is to shift..DONT ,car thrives at 4500-5000 just dont over rev or vtec a turn

dont be affriad to get into those high revs. I recently bought my S and that was my first problem when driving it. I would think to my self wow this really isnt that fast until I learned to stay in the powerband and not be scared when I hear the motor screaming. Now it never fails to put a smile on my face.

The best advice I can give.. and I wish I could tell myself this a year ago.. Just get some good tires.. fresh fluids(brakes too) and good pads and go to a track. MVP is really good to start. It's not a race, just fast ass enthusiasts, and there are trainers to ride along..

Once you feel your car on a track, your priorities on what to drop money into changes. I bet right now your thinking about some subs and a hood, maybe even rims.. Once you feel how amazing your baby will take a corner and dust those high horse challengers and such, and it will cause I have.. you will want brakes, suspension and tuning.. Everything else comes later.. but find a legal track.. spend the 150 for an entire day or hitting 9k rpm with the top down at 120mph.. (that sounds soooooo.... nice) and you decide

trich101 hit the nail on the head. In the vast majority of cases, the car is better than the driver. Spend your time and money improving the "loose nut behind the wheel." It's fun, you get a great bang for the buck, and the mod transfers to your next car automatically.
