Default New project: Testing BC Racing Coilovers

Hey guys,

I've been working with BC Racing since I met with the owner last year at a car event in Puerto Rico on coilover set up for the s2000 and finally they were shipped to my door steps a few days ago. We're going to be setting the s2000 up with a spring rate of 12 all around ( you can choose your own spring rates) due to tracking purpose only. I currently use 7 all around on my Zeals which surprisingly was great on the track but decided to go back to 12 like i had on my JIC's on my 1st and 2nd ap1's.

Review on the coilovers:

Light weight, the build quality of them were solid, well built and well packaged. Nice to have pillowmounts ( my current Zeals s6's do not) included and the height adjustment levels .......well for the guys that want to slam the car, I think you'll like these. haha

Damping:

- I counted about 30 from left to right for comfort adjustment. These will take some time to tweak on the track but it's good to know that it is able to do that.

Some info I read about: BC Racing revalves for free, which is pretty unheard of. I contacted Endless about my Zeals and they quoted me 200$ plus shipping to them and back!!!... I like the idea of BC Racing doing this at no additional charge.

These will be installed mid April and I will be documenting the installing with photos and data feedback from a shop here that specializes in S2000's. We will be corner balancing the car and alignment with the new coilovers. We hope they perform just as well if not, better than my Zeals and JIC's I have previously.

If you have any questions during this testing period, please dont hesitate to PM me or ask! Thanks and wish us luck!

PICS!

- independently adjustable compression and rebound
That statement is incorrect. Compression and rebound are adjusted TOGETHER on the BR Type.

There are also a few reviews on Riley's sponsor sale thread for anyone interested: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=604020

Congratulations on your purchase.

I've been running these since last summer, 10k springs all around. Daily driver/track machine and I'm very happy with them. Very comfortable on the street and they do well on the track

They have been confirmed they are manufactured in Taiwan which for a moment concerned me then after remember brands such as Work and other big brands are also manufactured in the same place, made me worry less. haha

If all works out well with the set up on the car and we're pleased with the testing, I'll be distrubutor for them soon after!
