Default New Use For My Unused Dash Controls

Spent the whole day today doing this. I don't use the dash controls so I thought I could make them useful.

Edit: How do you embed? I don't remember how.

Good use of the large mode button, I find it pretty much useless so it works better as a garage remote I do like to use the volume button the way it is though.

Take out the S from https

By the way great job on this mod. Care to share a diy or guide? Did your remote take 12v battery?

Thanks for the help.
I could try making a DIY on here but I don't have any pictures. I could probably use other pictures as examples. And the remote used a 9v battery. I connected a Zener Diode that stepped down the Voltage by 5.1v and ran the remote off of that.

I did this years ago. One less "thing" floating around the cockpit.

I did the exact same thing on my bike and sister's car. It was so useful not having to carry around a remote on my motorcycle. Modifry has a very good DIY on this, thanks.
