Default New VIS hood

Just received my new hood today and I'm having a heck of a time getting it lined up so it wont sit on the ridge of the fender. It took a nice little chip out of my paint allready . Anyone have any problems with VIS carbon hoods? I have put 2 hours into this thing and its still not right. Any tips?

Thats the thing with replica hoods, sometimes they simply don't fit. Good luck with it, but I think you will have to deal with as close as you can get to fitting instead of fitting like OEM

this thread is useless without pics! make sure you're adjusting the hinge/body position, the hinge/hood position, and the hood latch position. vis have fit excellently as far as i have seen. also seibon has really stepped up their game recently...all the new seibon hoods ive seen have fit great. my last mg hood fit like OEM but my new one is coming in a few minutes...hopefully it fits just as well.
