yeah, i was assuming that i'd barely be using the nitrous. but the more i think about it, the more i lean toward the SC because i'm being offered one for a price close to that of a nitrous system and it seems less likely that i'd get in to trouble with that
I see many speeding tickets in your future...the lead foot is strong with this one lol

eh, not so much anymore. i speed strategically these days, not ftmfl like when i was in high school lol.

one thing that got me scared though--i saw an undercover police car the other day, and it was the new impala. i swear there was NO WAY to tell this thing was a policecar until he put the siren on! there were no subtle clues like you can find on the crown vic's or the older impalas, whose recognition i've honed down to a science. lights behind the grill were completely hidden and the cop didn't even look like a cop.

Don't drive in Maryland then. Passing through there on I-95 on the way to and from college for vacations I had seen a number of undercover cars with no tell tale signs. To name a few; an escalade, mustange, vette and camaro. All of which had luckily had someone pulled over as I went flying by them.

whaaaaat?

i've only seen older impalas, crown vic's, luminas (NO DAMN WAY TO TELL THOSE), and now the new crazy undercover impalas.

never seen the more standout ones you listed...gotta keep an eye out!

If you go with nitrous and use/enjoy it as often as you will enjoy a supercharger, it won't take you long to spend too much money and time refilling the bottle to justify the initially lower cost. LOL, you don't need nitrous or FI to get into trouble with an S2000.

If you buy a used SC kit, be sure that it is complete.

yah, i've already had an experience with buying an incomplete SC aftercooled kit with the coolant pump and some random hardware missing but with the FMIC setup i shouldn't need a coolant pump right? just the piping and the front mount and that's it? the one i plan to buy locally comes with ESM and the fuel pump (2 most commonly missing items). but the airbox is missing (don't care about it), the FMIC, piping to TB from SC, and belt. i'm thinking all of that should be easy to get. if any random mounting hardware is missing, it might be hard to find, but i think it can be done.

opinions?
