Default For nitrous guys, question about fuel line

Just ordered a zex wet. I've installed one before on my first s. I remember I had a problem with the fuel side. I cut the fuel line, the one that runs from the fuel rail "mushroom", down to the rubber line. I remember I installed it and turn the car on, it stalled. I double checked for leaks and there wasn't any. I figured it was my fuel line. So I took out the fuel line tap and returned it back to stock and fired it up again. Started up fine. So I got confused. Maybe I cut the wrong line, idk but I'm sure i cut the right one. I watched the Mighty Car Mod episode when Moog installed his nitrous set up. If you listen carefully they said they were going to cut the fuel line too. Couple minutes after, they ran into a problem and ended up tapping the fuel rail. So im guessing they also ran into an issue with cutting the fuel line. I want to know who else had this problem and who didnt. I'm thinking about just tapping my fuel rail instead. Let me know how you guys did it. Thanks

I cut the feed line and installed the Tee fitting there on my '01 and '02. No issues. I can't imagine any issues if it were installed leak-free and the solenoids were wired up properly.

Yea thats what I was saying. I'm sure I installed the fuel line tap correctly. I just would hate to cut it with my new ride and it does the same thing. Did you cut the line thats right under the "mushroom"?

If you follow row the driver side metal lines with the plastic protective casing up the front of the car you should run into the rubber fuel line you are looking for. There is only one down there. If I recal it has yellow lettering saying fuel on it. I did not have any problems with mine whatsoever. Let me go back and see if I have any pictures.
