So I came across this while searching for the Berk 70mm. What do you guys think? Would this be worth the buy? I have a 70mm catback with a 70mm header. So I don't even think I should buy it if it's only 2.25".

Yeah, definitely do not buy the 2.25". Otherwise I don't see why not try it.

Ceramic or metal substrate? Who makes the core? How many CPI?

You get what you pay for.

Does anyone know where to order the Berk 70mm? I've been trying to order one for a long time and when I have asked, the answer I get is they are back ordered.
