Default normal oil temp?

I just installed an oil temperature gauge and I'm wondering what the normal range of temperatures should be.

No more than 140 celsius, that being a little high actually. Preferrably in the low 130s (at a track, hot day, driving hard).

*searches google and converts to F*

140 degrees Celsius = 284 degrees Fahrenheit, cool. I am showing up to 210 driving around for a little while so I think I'm good, thanks.

good to know, I am using the sandwich plate as well, but I am also running a non-aftercooler SC so I expect my temps to be a little higher.

It depends A LOT on where / how your gauge is hooked up, so don't take any number as gospel.

My sensor is mounted on my greddy sandwich plate. It measures engine oil coming out.

Around town and with freeway driving I see 210-215 F.
