Default NRG engine Torque Dampner

So I attempted to put this in and it pushes right up on the a/c line.

Anyone have a solution or should this go in the trash?

Thanks

Get some rubber hose and cut it lengthwise and wrap around the ac line to protect it from rubbing?

Can you post a photo?

Its fatter on one end than the other. Would mounting it in the other direction help?

How much is it in the way? AC lines are easily manipulated. Would pushing/molding it out of the way (without kinking it) be enough to solve issue?

I read a few older post and it looks like they've slightly bent the A/C lines.

The cylinder doesn't really extend far enough out to eliminate the issue,

Don't think Rock Auto has it. I searched..
It looks like it has been discontinued.
