Default o-ring lube

What is the best "lube" to use on injector/map-sensor/oil-filter o-rings?

1. Motor Oil
2. Shin-etsu grease
3. Lithium Dielectric grease
4. Urea grease

i use petroleum grease *corrected* (the clear type) on injectors and motor oil on oil filters. i don't use grease on the map sensor as the surface of the o ring doesn't actually rub against anything in a turning motion (like the injectors and oil filter), it just gets clamped down when screwing in the mounting bolts. Plus, wouldn't want to get any grease in the actual map sensor and screw w/ readings.

These o-rings are designed for petroleum. Engine oil would be fine.

Shop manual recommends engine oil for the injector o-rings.

I just put engine oil on my injectors last night when I changed out my fuel rail. Works fine.

Petroleum jelly / Vaseline can be substituted for motor oil in lubricating O-rings.
