Yeah, well your OEM top is worth just as much as a carbon mugen style top. So if you got a trade offer for a good fitting carbon one, or an authentic mugen, do it if you want. I wouldnt trade for an frp mugen replica since your top is worth quite a bit more.

btw, if you happen to want to go that route, let me know. i am looking for an oem top and have a double sided cf top that fits real well.

 

Haha, I want a double sided carbon one so bad, but i'm still having to save to get an FRP mugen style top for the new group buys that will start later this week.

 

pictures would help you persuade me i really want a mugen hardtop....but if i get one i most definitely have to get a cf trunk too

well the inside really looks just like any other top, only it is cf weave just like the outside. i can take and send pics if you really want. wind noise will depend on your latches and strikers. none for me bc i modded mine. you will have the same amount that you have now with your oem top. the fitment is excellent as you can see. no complaints. and i just put in new seals, so no water.

as for the color, i dont really mind bc i can have it painted. i just want the oem look now.

would you want to keep our own hardware and just swap tops? thats would i would like to do and yes pictures please and huntsville al about 5 or 6 hours from six flags if you live close to there and thats driving the speed limit if you came here my freind has a pretty bug car shop we could do the work in and next wed im buying my springs and exhaust soo my car would be up there any ways

 

also if you take pics from the inside could take one from the back the gap looks a little big
