I have recently purchased an OEM high level spoiler and had it resprayed, I have all the fitting instructions including a template to get the hole positions in the correct place on my bootlid. My question is how thick should the rubber washers be? unfortunately i cant get the originals from Honda as they only sell them as a complete package with the spoiler so i have had to go to a hardware shop to get something close to what i think is correct. Has anyone here done an install? I don't know how high the base will sit on the bootlid? and how much space there is supposed to be. Also do i need to be looking at some double sided tape or will the bolts be enough? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
