Default oem replica hardtop question (carbon fiber)

So I bought a used oem style double sided carbon fiber hardtop, the make is forbidden usa. Ever since I bought it I kinda noticed the top was wavy when you payed attention to it from an angle but it never really bugged me, the other day a buddy of mine asked me if the top was hit by hail or something or why it looked like that. And now im just curious to know if its just a design flaw or if all hardtops are like that since in deed it is just a hardtop and not a fixed roof. I also thought of the possibility that it could be because the top of the HT is so thin, I mean you can see the light shine thru the thing (double sided cf so the light shining through is in between the weave) are all hardtops that thin? im sure I could just poke my finger thru the roof that's how fragile it looks lol. It doesn't look like dents as it would on metal affected by hail its just wavy a little bit, not like a smooth painted panel. anyone have a clue?

also by no means am I putting down forbidden usa or their products, I have no right to as I didn't buy the product brand new directly from them. They are a great company and have an amazing customer service.

Its fiberglass with carbon over it so it will have some unevenness to it. The hood on my civic does and most carbon parts do. If you were paint it it would need some bondo and sanding to get it super smooth.

I ordered a hardtop from forbidden and the shop has called and said it was damaged in shipping. Forbidden called me to say it was damaged, it was a normal "blemish" in the weave...That all carbon tops have them and mine was lucky to only have 1 on the inside and not any on the outside. I haven't heard anything about this, here is the only pic that was sent:

I couldn't tell if it was a reflection or what but it looks like #1 is a crack and #2 is a blemish? Is it normal for these tops to have blemishes/defects in the weave?
