Default OEM spoiler to wing

Before you guys flame on me i already did a good search and found some threads on the topic but each person said something different. Alright with that being said i have a Spa yellow 2001 S2k with an OEM spoiler on it right now and i want to put a wing on it similar to this one: http://www.hardtopguy.com/store/prod...p?productid=97 but this is for an AP2 and i have an AP1. My question to you all is if i take off the oem spoiler and replace it with an oem wing (it will probably be an ebay replics one since im cheap) will the holes be the same? Where are some nice wings you would recomend for me? Some good ebay ones with good fitment? Thanks guys a lot ahead of time!

I just did a quick search and in like 2 seconds found the answer to your question. You can do it, but you will have to drill 2 additional holes.

Also, just get an OEM spoiler, you wont regret it. Its not like they are super expensive or something. Imo the lip spoiler is the best looking out of the two, but the OEM spoiler wing looks good if you have a hardtop, but thats about it. I would just keep what you have.

Ap1 spoilers sometime have 2 holes drilled in the middle of the spoiler.

I had an ap1 spoiler and when I switch to a ap2 spoiler I found that my ap1 spoiler rubbed the paint underneath it and scuffed it all up so a repaint is needed

What are some of my choices out there for wings?

I found these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...T#ht_7075wt_941

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...IT#ht_500wt_956

What do you guys think of it and how it will replace my OEM spoiler?
The second one comes painted

A Mugen or Mugen style wing sold by Seibon/VIS will bolt right into your oem trunk lid spoiler existing holes with no additional holes needing to be drilled.

I don't like the look of the Mugen wing at all, i was looking for something more like the CR wing but maybe not as big as the CR.

I kinda like the second ebay wing i posted since it comes painted already. I just don't want random holes everywhere. I figure i can sell my OEM spoiler for at least $200 since it goes for $375 new, which will help a lot with the costs.

Either keep your OEM spoiler, or buy the OEM ap2 spoiler wing.

there are 3 holes on the oem lip spoiler. the ones on the outsides and one in the middle. the one in the middle will show. when i installed my oem lip spoiler i decided not to drill the center hole and have had no issues, but yours might have a hole there.
