Official Post your Shift knobs!
I'm running a custom knob made by my friend Chris @ WC Lathewerks. He started manufacturing parts for the Subaru community, but he's expanding his product line, and he's willing to do custom parts, so if anyone's looking for a special knob (e.g. anything aside from a sphere), he's definitely willing to work something out.
Here's a pic of the knob I run at the track:

Material is copolymer, with a brass insert to add weight/increase durability. I definitely favor this knob over the stock selection, as it sits slightly lower, feels perfectly weighted, and gives great shifting feel. Plus, since it's copolymer, it doesn't burn my hand when I get in the car after letting it sit in a lot on 90*+ days
Also, I run one of his spherical knobs, as in the image below, albeit mine sits slightly lower:

You can get these in either SS, aluminum or copolymer, and possibly Ti in the future. The nice thing about my SS knob is the extra weight helps smooth out the shift throws, and allows me to shift with less effort.
Anyway, these are the two knobs I run. If anyone's interested in buying from Chris, here are links to two S2000 product pages he has up already, as well as a link to his general site:

He's received very positive reviews from the Subaru community, as well as all other customers he's dealt with (I know a couple S2k guys run his knobs), so if you're interested in a quality product, you should definitely consider his knobs. I've known him for a while, and he's really attentive (read: completely anal) when it comes to detail, and he takes the time to ensure everything he makes is essentially perfect. As I said, he produces many variations of these knobs, so if you want something that's not shown on his site (e.g. engravings, blued finish, etc.), or if you've got anyone else you want custom machined, you should talk to him, because he's got pretty much a full machine shop set up in his house
