Default Oil Catch Tanks

I have been looking at putting a oil catch tank on my car in the spring when i bring my car back out. What im wondering is there any difference between say a greddy oil catch tank or a no name ebay catch tank. I mean ive dont some searching on the greddy and cusco tanks and they are pretty much all the same. my question is do you guys see any difference in the tanks or should i just get a ebay tank and get nicer lines for connecting the tank.

they might use different filtering materials. the greddy might have higher end filters while the cheap no name might not be that great. just a thought

wrong, most of them are just a can, some of the better one has a baffle plate on them.

the greddy one doesn't have anything, imho it's not worth it. some people use fine steel wool as a filter, but you are running risk to suck in more crap.

if you are running on track, a non-baffled can can cause a few problem in hard corner.

i think the air compressor inline filter is a better solution, they are rated to withstand much higher pressure, the filter medium is awesome(5mircon) and you cannot suck in the wasted oil unlike a cheap catch can.

Yea i saw the DIY oil catch tank with the air compressor filter. I was also thinking about doing that i just dont wanna screw something up with making my own, but i may just do that since it does have a filter in it.
