I'm thinking of getting an oil temp gauge for my S, but don't want to place it on the a-pillar like most turbo cars do... It's too "show-off" in my mind, especially on a non-turbo S. So, I'm thinking of putting it where the ashtray is, or under the dash/at the transmission tunnel if you know what I mean. Does anyone have a picture of a gauge in the ashtray spot, or anything similar? Or does anyone have any suggestions on where to put an oil temp gauge, like a discrete place? Thanks

can't say about where to put but if you want something discreet and small enough to put somewhere tight, check out Omori Meters 45mm line. I don't think any of the "popular" meter brands make them that small anymore other than Omori.
