Default Oil temperature sensor for Greddy adapter

Got a question, I'm trying to install an oil temperature gauge in my Greddy oil relocation adapter.

I bought a GlowShift oil temperature gauge, but the sensor does not fit, looks like it's too wide to fit in the channel on the Greddy adapter.

Should I get a greddy gauge? do I need some different sensor that will fit??

Thank you for replies.

glow shift sell a adapter that goes over your oil filter opening. your oil filter goes over it and theres like 3 connector points where you can hook up the temp gauge sensor

If you are using the Greddy Oil Adapter the 3 points that is on there is probably 1/8 BSPT which is the threading and your GlowShift Oil Temperature Gauge is using a 1/8 NPT. So it will not work.

You can get an adapter for it that goes from 1/8 NPT to 1/8 BSPT and it should work. There are a few websites that carry the adapter and it runs anywhere from $2.99 to $9.99 depending on where you pick one up at.

Check allcargauges.com, autometer.com, or glowshift.com for the adapters they have them.

you guys are not getting it, the thread is fine, it is the same. What is not the same is the diameter of the part of the sensor that goes inside the channel into the Grex adapter. The diameter of that part of the sensor is larger than the channel diameter.
.... It's fine anyways, I just picked up Greddy gauge with the right temp sensor...
