what kind of scann tool can i use to check if all systems are working? make ,model , version

I took to smog place and they said the ecu is not ready 2ndary airpump system is not ready, I install airpump delete Kit from Gt motoring.


Should I drive it another 30 miles or so

As far as I know, any OBDII scan tool will work. I got a generic one from Autozone, and it works fine with my car as well as all my friends' cars.

ScangaugeII is a cool device, but I wouldn't call it a scan tool, more like a trip computer. It will display some PIDs and trouble codes, but it will not tell you if your car is ready to be smog tested. For this you need something that can check if the monitors have been set. Here's one:

You can use it stand alone to check your monitors or connect it to a laptop and have a fully functional scan tool

I just ordered this today.
I also ordered this system just now. Can't beat the features it has for the price where with most of the other systems you end up having to buy extra cables and software to connect it to a laptop.

Yes, the Scanguage II will tell you if your car is ready to smog.
