I certainly didn't feel any loss, but any gains are hard to approximate with the butt dyno. I know the sound when I'm winding it out reminds me of my CBR1000RR that I used to have, but it's pretty mellow around town or just cruising.

T1R 63mm Sparrow with TP. Great HP gains for a dual, nice bassy rumble with no drone under 4000rpms, sounds incredible in VTEC-land. The best dual I've heard and I got compliments from other S2000 owners with invidias, HKS's, Comptechs, etc.

Hey Mother, that exhaust looks nice on the AP2 bumper. How does it sound? The canisters and tips look almost like the Mugen. I like something that's pretty quiet, would you say it's quiet? What would you compare to? Supersprint? T1R Sparrow? Mugen? Fujitsubo Legalis R?

Sparrow might be a too loud for you. I will say it has one of my favorite tones, but it's louder than Mugen and Fujitsubo.

I have an HKS on my S, and I just LOVE the sound of it.
I'm not too sure if I like the looks of it, though.
It's okay, and that resonator placed between the canisters give it a overall good look but I think there are better looking exhausts out there.

I'm with Dan - the sound of the HKS was exactly what i was looking for - it's a little lighter than stock, but no noticeable performance change. It's the look of the thing that i can't quite get comfy with - some days i like it, some not. Looks great from a side profile, but the tips don't look quite right from the rear of the car - i'm considering getting some oval tips made up. I'd still recommend it though - for sound alone..

Do those look like shitty welds? How about that stainless steel? It wasn't thin, burned through, or dented. No complaints on quality. As with any 70mm, volume was another story until I fixed that.

No argument there...the sound of the HKS is in a league of its own. It sounds perfect.
