With the works bell short hub and works bell quick release. Does the steering wheel sit closer to you vs. the OEM setup?

yes it sits closer, i would say about an inch and a half. I don't think it's mainly because of the hub though. It might be due to the structure of the personal steering wheel, because of its concave structure. I actually like the configuration because everything feels so accessible. The only problem is, the turn signals and wipers are further away so it takes a bit of getting used too.

Darn, I want something that sits as close as to OEM setup or a further. I'm 5'4" and I sit up pretty close and find that the OEM wheel is already a bit too close.

then can't you just do without the rapfixII quickrelease and just the short hub by itself? that should reduce the distance. but not sure if it would clear the roof of the main gauge. i just got the shorthub because i knew with the works bell rapfix it would bring it out even further.

That might be too far. There is a regular hub length. Id expect taht to be about the same as OEM.

It looks like you used the steering wheel bolts on the hub & the hub bolts on your steering wheel. The steering bolts should sit flush w/ the plate of the wheel.

when i got a new wheel everyone said i needed a puller but i just wiggled it off. comes off pretty easy
