Default please help installing K&N intake 2006

I have a MY 2006. I'm in the process of installing my new K&N intake. The instructions are for all model years & are a bit confusing. I was hoping to find someone with a 2006 that installed a K&N intake that might be able to help me out. A few of the items I'm having trouble with:
- Step 10. Detach (2) vacuum hoses. I do not see these hose as shown in the instructions.
-Step 11 How can I tell if my car is equipped with an air injector pump? I have a 2006. Where is it located
- Step 12, Detach hose from air control vacuum check valve. Where is the check valve.
- Step 18. Install a coolant bypass. Yes or no?
THANKS IN ADVANCE

Witha 2006 you don't worry about that. The instructions are for general for all years. So don't worry about it

So, a 2006 does not have an air injection pump?

Yes, exactly. As well as any instructions after the install that have to do with those parts.

Cool, thanks.
Just one other thing. (step #18) I read that some owner suggest NOT using the coolant bypass & re-installing the coriginal oolant lines to their original places. Others say Yes, use the bypass as shown in step #18

i did on mine when i had it. i dont see why u wouldn't. if u dont, you would have some tacky setup, with unconnected metal hoses.

You don't have to drill a hole in the intake either for the IAT sensor. Just use the hole that they have already put on the intake. It holds the IAT sensor just fine.
