interested to see how the forward mount will turn out and results!
as for the heat soak, shouldn't get any when you're moving, just when you're stopped and sitting at idle. you'll feel it when you start to move again from a stop, the throttle response kinda bogs down until you get moving (i feel this with just the intake lid off). you could get a heatshield to block some heat, like the shield above my post or the one i posted, or both lol

I wraped mine in gold reflective tape and it still happens.

The guy I bought mine from had a flex tube on it too so I put it next to the radiator. I've been trying to think of a way to add another one to pull air from infront of the radiator but the gap on the passenger side is pretty narrow.

for fasting's lil "heatbox" setup, he actually retrofitted the k&n heatshield, i'm pretty sure you can contact k&n for one

and for the heatshield i posted, it's a moddiction heatshield, there are other brands out there that sell em

Love it S-Factor! I knew you were up to something looking for that 3/4 Rad!

My solution for heat soak with the PRM...

Ducted from the headlight... (hacking up a 300+ head light... not for the faint of heart!)

Wow thats a good idea, is there any risk of flooding it in the rain?

Thanks man.

I've been known to cut up things but hacking up a perfectly good AP2 headlight must be nerve wracking!!!
