uh, there are none? I guess the only con is it's not a full blown EMS, but it is still very powerful. It may lack features like boost or launch control, but it MORE than capable of tuning your car within an inch of its life.

They're really are no cons to this thing.

I have a couple timing issues here and there, but that's cause i have an aggressive tune. You can work out your settings with your tuner based on your wants.

This thing blows the VAFC away, and for n/a you don't really need the aem ems or any other stand alone. EM-U is the way to go.

Just make sure the driver jumper is in the 5v position and you'll be ok. The tune needs to take into consideration that the engine may adjust it's fuel trims over a couple of days. It will eventually stabalize, but the tuner needs to consider it to avoid going too lean.t

Coils were an issue with DBW setup's, incorrect settings and firmware. Don't think it has anything to do with the unit itself

Yep. There is a jumper that sets the coil driver between 5v and 12v. Our cars use a 5v pulse, so if the jumper is in the wrong place, the 12v will eventually burn them out due to overheating.

There should be an installation manual with the EMU. I forget the jumper number, but the manual makes it easy to figure out. There is also an emanage thread on this board. Make sure you read the whole thing, it evolves as everyone chimes in their findings.

You can do some neat stuff with it if you know how. People are using the extra injecter drivers for controls, and the extra inputs and outputs are rather flexible. Good luck.
