Default Project Mu or Hawk HPS

The dust of the AP2 brake pads are driving me nuts so I posted a thread regarding best street pads for the S2k, at which time I was thinking EBC pads, however the thread caused a change of heart and now I am down to two choices.

I am looking for a good pad that will have a bit more stopping power than the AP2 pads, yet provide less dust.

-Project Mu B spec pads ($210)-These pads have great reviews on this forum, with minimal negative feedback. I am worried that they won't cut down on the dust much if any compared to the AP2 pads.

-Hawk HPS pads ($170)-I have used these pads on previous cars. I liked the stopping power that they provided; however, they still had a decent amount of dust, but my guess would be that on the S2k they would be less than the AP2 pads.

Has anyone actually tried all three (AP2, Hawk, Project Mu) and can compare them??

How bad is the dusting on the AP2 pads? I was thinking of picking some up shortly for my AP1.

Yeah Ap2 pads suck! My car dusted so bad with them on, I have since gotten some after market ones; I must say they are a whole lot better .

Which ones? How is the braking in comparison?

I want Project Mu as well

the AP2 pads do dust a lot, but they're great for cold weather stopping power

if all you care about is dust, switch to ap1 pads. i had the pmu bforce and dusting is the same as stock ap2 if not a tad bit worse.

That is kind of what I was worried about with the PMU pads. From the sounds of it the HPS stop better and seem to dust less than the AP2 pads, can anyone else confirm this?
