Default protection softtop tears

i remember a while back i saw a thread where a poster had decided to buy something that looked like a "sweat wrist band" to protect the known area of the frame that causing those common tears near the drivers/passangers headrest.

i think it velcroed around the round part of the frame.

can any of you recall or maybe do you have a suggestion? rather than filing that part down.

i am just looking to put a soft cloth or soft material there to prevent the tears from happening.
