Default Pulse Plugs expierence

k, so my chick bought me a set of pulse plugs for x-mas, and i just put them in today, i gapped them using a gap tool that i also got for x-mas its a KD wire and feeler gauge set, i gapped them to the stock setting 0.041...when i got them, i checked the gap setting and it was set more or less around 0.038 not far off from the 0.040 setting they come in as sparkplugs.com has on their site...after i gapped them i proceeded to the install, after installing them i went for a ride, the first thing i noticed was the smoother idle...i punched it a couple times and i noticed a couple things, revs much smoother, way better throttle response (this was probably the best thing out of them), and alot more throatier...after installing them i took them off and i put the stocks back in, honeslty i feel that it pulls harder with the stocks, the same thing happened to me when i installed the denso ik22's... Now i thought of something, do you guys think its cause our ngk's have a gap setting of 0.044 ??? i dont understand why the stock ngk's have a gap setting of 0.044 if the gap setting for our cars is 0.041, now i know the gap setting on a plug can have a good effect on performance... i was almost tempted to gap the pulse plugs to 0.044 but i figured id just leave it at what honda suggests... well i put the pulse plugs back in because my stocks look horrible....just thought id share my expierence

do a gas milage test this is where i here they are a real winner because they produce a much more efficient combustion.

i put bosch iridiums in mine and felt the same differences from stocks that you felt when you put these in just want to know if the gas milage is better to see if these would be a better purchase in the future.

anyone know if maybe its cause of the wider gap the ngk's have, that maybe makes the difference?

i never said it made the exhaust soung better ??? .... it made the car sound throatier, other people have experienced this to with iridium plugs.... i just want to know if you guys gap the ngk platinums to 0.041 or leave them how they come which is 0.044 ??? i could give a crap of what my car sounds like....i was curious to see if the pulse plugs were indeed better than our stock plugs, as far as power goes.... so i thought maybe its cause the ngk's have a wider gap
