buddy i work with has an 08 si, and his digital readout and tach lights are red based.

regular civics are blue based.

No. LEDs are too directional. You'd have bright and dark spots. If you look at the DIY link you'll see how many LEDs it takes to keep the light consistent.

hmm, well... to spend 280 so I can can pull apart my cluster just to get a different color speedo and tach... and not make my car go any faster? I'll pass on that. Everyone has different objectives for their car and personalized dash display is not one of mine. I like the idea though!
