Default question on fujita CAI

I live in Texas where its always hot. most of the time. I bought my s2000 and the previous owner had a fujita cai that he made shorter so it doesnt suck up water. but not the filter sits right behind the radiator fan, so my question is

Is this doing more bad then good?
Or should put on the old Airbox...?

It's doing more bad than good. I would either get the full CAI tube, or put the OEM airbox back on.

It's doing no good. Get a FIPK if you're worried about hydro locking.
