my top was slashed and im in need of a new soft top for my ap1. i need some insight from others on which top to consider.

first question: is there an aftermarket top (robbins..ect) that is a darker black than others? ive seen pictures of replacements and some seem to be alot darker than others. would you recommend one over another for other reasons?

next: who sells these replacement tops? i cant find any site with pricing to compare to oem prices.

also, besides robbins and oem, are there any other options?

Get a Robbins in Hartzcloth. The top will never fade--stays pure black--and I mean black, black. Have used this product in my restorations. Hartzcloth is OEM in Mercedes. Also recommend use of a professional installer. Good Lucki

Theres OEM, EZON, & Robbins.
I just got the black stayfast EZon material. Looks like the darkest black Ive seen in comparison pictures.
If you do decide which to buy, make sure you mention their eBay pricing bc the sell it cheaper on eBay.

I just replaced BanzaiS2k's top with this brand and it was a great quality top. He's NY metro so you might be able to check it out in person. If i had to do it over again, I wouldn't do the EZ On after checking out this brand.

 

TopsOnline was very good to me. I have the robbins stayfast and it is a very nice looking material and very dark.

 

I just ordered one from autotopsdirect- so we'll see!
