Quick coilover question
I just got an 01 silverstone black/red and I love it. It's been a lot of fun driving the past month but it's time to lower it and get it a little stiffer. My only problem is I'm torn between the megan racing track and the buddy club n+ spec. They are both about the same price (buddy clubs are like $50 more). I just wanted some input from guys who have run both. I've heard from people who have run several expensive sets of coils and said they prefer the megans over anything else. I've also heard the megans pretty much let you go as low as you want. I'm going to be ordering ether or by tonight so If anyone could give me some input I would greatly appreciate it. Also I was wondering what the springs rates on the n+ specs are, I know the megans are 12/12kg's? Thanks to anyone who can help.
I don't know too much about those, but I have heard that the KW variant V3's are the best coil over for the money on the market for the S2000. They are one of the few sets that actually have separate resivors.

im not positive about this but i think they might be the same coils only rebadged. i kno that megan, and apexi are the same thing but im not quite sure about the buddy club. can anyone confirm this?
Yes, they are made from the same company(as is Apexi, HKS, and all the others), BC Racing in Taiwan (http://www.bcracing-na.com/). If you had those two to choose from get the Megan track as I've heard the N+'s are equal or less performing than stock.
There's also another Japanese engineered, Korean built brand KBee. They go around 900$ and come w/12k f/r springs rates. I have these on my car and they seem to be pretty well. I don't have anything to compare it to, so take this as a grain of salt.

megan track series and the apex n1 damper is almost 100% identical, except the color of it. and the buddy club isn't.....
moton coilovers ftw..and kw variants are the best for the money and good for the streets...

-- if you're looking for coilovers, go directly to TEIN - you will not be asking for anything else after you buy these - the TEIN FLEX coilover set-up is so well executed and thought out it is absolutely, IMHO of course, the single best mod you can do to the s-2000, if you plan to drive semi agressively on the street
-- remember to order the EDFC (electronic damp force controller) which allows adjustment of damping from inside the car

i've tracked with buddy club n+ and tein flex. i liked the bc n+ better. they are a bit stiffer than oem IMO, but it's not so bad where it'll kill your back.
the edfc was pretty much a waste of money for me. you hardly ever need to adjust your settings. it looked cool though...i would pocket that $320 and take 30 seconds to adjust your struts by hand.
