Default racing pulleys..are they worth it?

i was looking into some light weight pulleys for my ap1. however ive heard in the past that the power they free up isnt worth the price but than ive heard its a noticeable difference. does anyone prefer one brand over another?? i was mostly looking at the unorthodox racing set and also the t1r set.

Yeah there are a tonne of threads on this... someone did replace most of the pulleys including the crank one... BUT the major problem has always been about the harmonic balancer on the crank pulley... and by removing it could cause long term damage to the crank itself...

I've got the full set from ur, crank also.i've had them on for about 70k miles with no issues from the engine. the water pump pulleys have cracked but were replaced. they are pricey for the set.acceleration is improved slightly. they look cool =bling effect. my car has 170k miles on it. don't see these pulleies posing any problems,(crank included).

I have replaced all but the crank, no change in performance. As for replacing the crank pulley, I believe the crank is internally balanced, so no problem pulling it and replacing. But if your spending the cash to do that for HP, you can do other things cheaper. If your doing it for "bling", well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and you would get props from me, but be prepared to spend serious money!
