Default Racing Seats

Hello! Im looking at purchasing a few racing seats for my ap1. All the searches ive done yeilded info from years ago, talking about seats that arent made anymore. During my searches ive come across other topics where the only response was "Use the search." IM getting rather frustrated. Is there any way we can make a sticky or something that lists all the seats that fit?

F1 spec makes decent seats, but they aren't FIA approved. so some people wont buy them.

since the price isn't really expensive, i think it worth you to try. i also plan to get his reclining seats for my car soon. BTW, keep in mind that you can't compare the quality of their seats to Bride or Recaro because their price is just much cheaper than Bride or Recaro.

So far, a few NSX owners have bought their seats and no one is disappointed by the quality. Ming also offers competitive price, good customer service and attitude.

there are photos on honda-tech with f1spec seats in them. the buddy club s2000 has a buddy club p1 seat in it (one photo, not a good one). let me try to search for better photos. i have an f1spec seat, yeah it was cheap, but you get what you pay for.

BUDDY CLUB S2000

BUDDY CLUB the lists fitment for ap1 and ap2 (til 2006?). click on product, then racing spec bucket seat. dimensions are listed also.

BTW, if you need seats for racetrack, autocross, or racing, you will have to use FIA approved seats for safety. if it's for DD, F1 spec is definitely your choice.

The car is my dd, with the occasional auto-x. I just need something to replace the oem seat since the drivers side bolster is practically non-existent anymore... And on the note of FIA certification, if a seat isnt certified, does that mean i cant auto-x anymore? i dont compete on a national level, or even anywhere outside of my region.

I have never seen a buddy club or F1 seat. How is the quality compared to Bride and Recaro? I cant imagine how a seat could be $1200 more for better quality alone. I realize there are design costs so I hope this doesnt turn into another JDM vs. Everything else thread.
