Default RDX Injectors

Hello everyone,

I'm going to be tuning my 2002 S with Kpro this summer and I've been talking to my local tuner about somethings I could install to squeeze a bit more power out of it. So far I've got a K&N FIPK, Berk 70mm HFC and Invidia Q300 exhaust.

My tuner mentioned that installing RDX Injectors for our cars will increase power as well due to its higher duty cycle and more efficient spray pattern. Has anyone had any experience with these injectors??

Ballade sports has them for sale and they are already customized to fit directly into our cars without any cutting or modifying at all:

Just looking for any comments or feedback from you guys as I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to these things.

I like the improved spray pattern but they are oversized for a mild NA setup unless your tuner can tune them to keep them from running overly rich. I was interested in them at one time for the spray pattern improvement, I contacted Ballade about them but they didn't reply back to me so I figured they probably weren't a good fit for my near stock setup.

We swapped out some rc310cc injectors for some rdx injectors on an LSvtec a few weeks ago, picked up about 6hp.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I'll take the plunge as my tuner is a really knowledgeable guy and I trust his opinion. I'm going to be tuning it on a dyno so once i get my charts and everything ill bump this thread and let you all know how it turned out!

Anyone else used these injectors with any success on an N/A setup?

I use 06-14 WRX / 07+ STi injectors, which are also blue-bodied Denso... Except, they're bigger (565cc) and do not require modification to fit. I actually just picked up two sets for some friends in Colorado that I will be delivering on my trip tomorrow. You can generally get them for $100 - $150 a set. The two sets I just picked up have 15k and 25k on them. The set I put in two years ago have about 45k on them and they've performed like an injector should.

I'd recommend some new OEM seals and some PnP harnesses: http://www.treadstoneperformance.com...ss+PnP+Adapter

FYI, the larger injectors should run at a lower duty cycle. Don't expect to pick up any power. I run these in order to run E85, which is the same reason two of my friends wanted a set. I may actually be trying a set [and a half] in an NSX soon.

I'm currently running Ballade Sports RDX injectors in my mild NA set up. My tuner did specify that I need bigger injectors with higher duty cycle to squeeze out more power. I installed these RDX injectors and the my tuner said they work well with my set up.

Bigger injectors will have a lower duty cycle compared to a smaller injector...

maybe I heard it wrong. I'm no tuner or pretend to be one. I try to learn but usually let the tuner do his thing.
