I'd love to see this - I definitely need a new one.

...the OEM is only $12 at Magestic.

I was planning on getting some 6061-T6 rectangular tubing and machine myself a bar...
what did you do to that bar? sword fight with King Arthur?

close... I live in LA.

Which is basically living in a third world country as far as roads are concerned.

I'm not even that lowered.

The road/traffic is so bad here I've tore up my bumper, my fender, my side skirts, and even broken a wheel --- all from crap falling off trucks right next to me and my hitting it at 75/80...

... maybe I should just slow down

That would just be downright unsafe. Nobody in LA does less than 75.

damn what part of la do you live in?
All i see everyday is traffic 24/7 and when there are no traffic, elderly ladies drive no faster than 40mph on the left lanes...

Haha! You're probably right.
I don't live there, it was just an observation from the many times I've visited. I usually stay at hotels in the LAX area and it always seems I can't go fast enough when I'm driving, despite the horrible condition of the highways, although admittedly during "off" hours.
I've seen my share of the traffic as well.

Polished stainless steel would seem a natural since it would match most aftermarket exhaust systems. This of course if it is visable from behind the car.
