Default removing visors

Since we all know our visors are useless.... Is there a way to remove them without leaving the holes from the mounting points? Any filler plates or something simple ?

I just removed mine and put the screw back in the hole. Doesn't look bad. I don't believe there is a cleaner way.

Hey, they're not useless. Just next to useless.

I agree. Lol they just bug me. I'm 6'1" and no matter what I'm typically looking right out the top of my windsheild. Lol

This is so common in the Miata community that the aftermarket makes hole covers. I went out just now and looked at my S2000 -- sadly, the mounts are different.

I've had mine off for about 6 years. They are useless to me and I like it better without them.

I plugged the screw holes and the holes where the visor goes in the center (near the light) with black plastic push in plugs from autozone. They sell them in packs of 10 in various sizes. Sorry I can't remember the size but take your visor and one of the screws in the store with you and you can pick out the right size. Costs about $6 to get them.

Here's an idea of the type plug I'm talking about---they come in various diameter heads and plug sizes (these are expensive---much cheaper at an auto parts store)

Yes! That's why I now carry a small 3 inch mirror in the net that's alongside the passenger's footwell! It's got a black back on it so it's not noticeable but my wife knows it's there!
