Default Replacement Differential Mounts

Had my car on the lift the other day and noticed one of my Diff mounts is leaking after 64k miles
Looking into replacing it, would like to go stiffer but not to sure of the pros and cons of stiffer mounts on the diff?
Would like some good advice.

quick search found this DIY:
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/943...#entry21586814
might be a better/cheaper solution than buying newer/aftermarket ones.

basically, there's more vibration thru the car and shifter. you feel more of the bumps and such. I did the stiffer of the polys and found it livable. But, I don't drive my car daily. I don't even notice it now when I drive it though.

Thank you for the link, sounds like a simple solution for those on a budget.

I'm curious how stiffer mounts will change the feeling of the car? Is there any negative effect on the lifespan of the diff when going to a stiffer mount?

Not sure... as I have maybe 5000 miles on the stiffer poly. I can't imagine it being worse though.

i have innovative 95a diff mounts and theres no noises or vibrations that i can feel . the car feels more solid and throttle input is better . i also have the 85a trans mount , that made the car vibrate more and makes the trans whine but im used to it after 3000 miles .

I think i'm going to step it up with a 75a innovative diff mount.

There's a little more vibration but not really noticeable.

I just installed some Innovative 85A diff mounts over the weekend and got to go to a local autocross event with them installed. It is a night and day difference in terms of feedback. I love mine. Found them on robearracing for like $165 shipped

^ $165 shipped? I'm guessing that deal's over. I Cant find em for under $270

Nevermind I was looking at the motor mounts. Wonder why innovative diff mounts are so much cheaper than hasport?

You get what you pay for! With some as crucial as a motor mount/diff mount get hasport! Its def worth the money!
