what annoys me, is how in the uk, you can buy a replica seibon mooncraft in full carbon.

can you even buy a spoon one in full carbon.. don't think so
I bet we also receive a lot of parts that the UK doesn't get. It goes both way.

I'd just prefer to be able to purchase genuine parts but then arguably I ask myself why don't I become uk distributor if I like the parts that much.

Looks like I'll have to grey import if I want genuine parts rather than replicas.

personally i have a VIS mugen frp replica, i wanted an authentic because i just feel like i would only like authentic parts on my car but my top got slashed and i couldnt afford the real thing so i got a replica !! i am extremely happy with it !! you just have to place your seals correctly i think thats the only thing that people get upset with !! i would only get a seibon/vis replica though i have heard horror stories with other cheapo replicas !

Only hardtop I ever thought looked good on the car was OEM (i'm biased). Look out for a used one, I paid 1800 for mine from a local member.

MY impression is that they all seem to work eventually but many come with a heavy dose of aggrevation. If your not buying OEM your best bet is probably used. Save money save time even if you have to re-paint.
