Default Rick's Clear Diffusors

I placed my order tonight I should have these in hand soon and wish to do this ASAP. Please put any imput you may have here, tips and tricks are welcome! I want to do this professional as humanly possible. This week i'll be gathering up the things I need. I know of the permatex black adhesive silicone but what else??? I've also heard of replacing the signal bulb (blinker) and the parking light while in there is that true? If so what type bulbs did you use? Just looking for your guys input I don't want to crack them open until I feel confident and have everything in hand!!

Also if anyone is interested I can document this with pics and turn this thread into a DIY LMK vote above!

-Thanks Vito

They already have a fantastic DIY post on the Ricks website. http://www.ricks2k.com/info/instructions/diffuser.pdf

If you want to re-do the work someone has already done for right ahead.

I like the emblem on the front of the car in Ricks DIY. Where can I purchase the same one? Are the ones found on ebay ok to use? Sorry for jacking. =)

Actually - Ricks sells the chromatic coated bulbs (orage bulb with chrome cover), and I had my conversion done by W1ngman (S2K member).

yea there's a well documented install already, as stated, and once you've done it once, it's easy

I plan on doing this when the weather warms up. No garage =/. I'd be glad to hear how it went for you.

FWIW, I painted my Fit's headlights recently. I bought some silicone, but didn't even use it. I just heated up the headlights in the oven, and pushed them together. No condensation.
