Roll Bar/Help/Ideas
Hello, i got this problem with my s2k i want to know if theres anything i can do about it the roll bar hoop cover broke i wanted to know if i could fix it without anything visible or do i have to buy a new one, or is there a mod/part i can get that makes the bar visible because i think the if bar could be shown it would look sick. So if anyone knows a part i can get to fix it or that it'll make the bar show much appreciated. im going to upload a couple of pictures to so you guys can see what im taling about.

The metal bar is sealed at the seam by heating a wire that melts the two halfs together.
The material is polypropylene. It is a junk plastic that is VERY difficult to bond to.
There are some chemicals that work better than others, but you'll probably do better by just posting a wanted to buy in the classifieds here. A lot of folks who tracked these have them sitting in the attic since they put the roll bars in.

We have a set with tweeters for sale from an 06+
This is why you want your soft top replaced by a professional
Or you could gut them all together and install our roll bar and bulk head bar to keep use of your stock belts. The car looks good with a roll bar. Not soo pretty if you just take those covers off
