RSG Roll bar and bulkhead installed
Installing the Rockstar Roll bar and bulkhead is not that difficult. Like others have mentioned, cutting the plastics and test fitting, repeat, repeat is what takes forever. Definitely need a nice dremel and angle grinder for some bigger pieces. Big shout out to Fasting as I followed his DIY. I only put the aftermarket bulkhead bar in because if I ever decide to get more serious about racing, I could add a harness. Probably would have been easier if the stock bulkhead was in place.

Rockstar had the rollbar and bulkhead on a group buy which came to about 820 bucks shipped. I like it now...once it's all said and done. But trimming those pieces takes forever.
You do lose a couple clicks on recline once the seat is the furthest back. I'm 6'2'' so it kinda sucks as I have had to move my seat up, but really not that bad. I know Fasting has used the rollbar with 2 bends in it which allows the seat to recline just a little more. Most bars have 4 bends in the main hoop like mine. Very subtle, but there are 4.

I had that issue too. I was just thinking if went around the outside it would eventually rub off the powder coat. That's why I went the inside route. I just bought some Backyard special lowering rails. Hopefully that helps with having to have the seat a little more forward than normal.
