Unhappy - S2000 AP2 Clear LED Headlights -

I have had these LED clusters for years now, and have wanted to do this for quite a while. I finally sourced a set of broken AP2 headlights to use as a prototype before I cracked into a nice set. The housings of these lights are busted up, and the lenses were scratched.

I love the outcome. I have made two versions to see what everyone's opinions would be. The first was to keep a stock look, and increase the performance by keeping the amber lenses, but having the LED cluster behind the lens.

The second version was to paint the stock amber lenses flat black to match the stock bezels, and to have the face of the LED cluster shown. By doing this gave a very nice clean clear lens look.

Here are a couple of pictures. The video will show more pictures, as well as the function of the turn signal.

Let me know what you think!

Here is the video of the turn signal in action...

Here is a 2 part video on how to do it yourself!

It's too bad California law enforces amber lights for turn signals. I love the all clear version. With the LEDs, it actually looks nicer than the clear version of the round diffusers. It's really missing something without the clear square diffusers though. Like this:
