hey guys i'm looking to replace my 2000 s2k soft top which has the plastic window. the window is alil scratched and i really dont care for the bluriness at night while lookin through it. so i was thinking of swapping it out for a 03 glass one. and i wanted to know if its a straight fit or not and if not how complex is it. also i would like to know if you guys would know some good sites that sell replacement tops( glass and plastic ).

 

I would pick up an 03+ motor and frame then buy a OEM soft top from Hardtopguy.com

I used my 01 frame and bought my soft top through them but I wish I would have just got the 03+ because it would have made it fit better.

 

well if i did that then shouldn't i just hit up ebay to get a 03 complete soft top. frame and all then just buy the motor. theres a 03 complete top on ebay for $599

 

and if i did buy a complete 03 frame would it be a bolt on or would there be alil modding to do

 

Should be direct bolt on. Why not look in the FS threads for a whole soft top and frame?

when you order from topsonline, it says it comes with straps so that you can correctly fold the top down with the 01 Frame and glass window

well it i just bought a 03 top would it fit my 00 frame and fold down rite. all i want is the glass back window. i don't care if its just the window or a complete top. i just want it to work like it came on the car from the factory. so if someone can guide me in the right direction that would help alot. and thanks for all of ur opinions guys
