Seat belt buckle

hey guys stupid question if I don't plug my seat belt buckle under the seat will the seat belt light always be on on my 2002 ap1

with it unplugged it wont light at all indefinitely.

^^correct. if the seat belt plug is unplugged, you will not have a light. you will only have a light if the plug is plugged in and your seat belt is not fastened. at least for 00-05.
