I finally got around to comparing the 2 vinyl samples I had out in direct sunlight.
As you can see in the photos below, both samples match Sebring Silver quite well, although, I think the Avery takes the cake.
Unfortunately, it seems that the Avery is out of stock everywhere and a date of return is unavailable, at least from the local vendors I contacted.
Hi Kevvo, did you ever get around to ordering more of the Avery vinyl and wrap anything with it? The pictures look incredibly close but I'd like to see how it compares on a larger sample size. I have a '02 Sebring Silver with a damaged fender after clipping a deer. I'm hoping to have the dent PDR'd then wrapping it to cover the chipped paint. I'm looking to avoid any paint work at the moment as I have a lot more mechanical work to do and do not want to spend money on cosmetics before mechanicals or risk damaging fresh paint in the process but it looks absolutely terrible now... thanks for posting this info!
Hey, I actually ordered a roll of 5x10 feet to wrap my j's lip and trunk. I probably will install it sometime April-early May and I'll update the thread.
I unrolled the wrap and laid it on my hood and the colour is pretty close considering it's vinyl vs.paint. In certain lighting the wrap looks just a tad bit darker but I think silver in general is a hard colour to match. That being said, for a vinyl wrap it's pretty darn close.
I'll unroll the wrap again and get some pics to post
Here's a sample of a large roll of Avery SW900-803-M on my hood. My car is in storage so I can't get photos of it out in the sun, so this is a photo of the car with the garage door open on a sunny day.
Once I have my front lip and trunk wrapped I'll update the thread again.
From what I can see so far, in certain lighting conditions the Avery wrap is a tad bit darker than the Sebring. Not so much that it's noticeable but if you're striving for a perfect match then painting is the only way to go.
For roughly $100 Canadian ($75 usd) for a 5x10ft roll, this is not a bad alternative at all.
Awesome! Thanks a bunch for sharing your experience thus far... I am not striving for perfection, just want it to look not like this. There is zero chance I am spending $5k+ on a $20k 120k mile car that I will never get back just for it to look pretty. I'd much rather spend that on a supercharger or something that actually improves the car. The issue with silvers in general, and especially this super metallic silver, is that you basically have to paint the whole car to get it perfect and if I were to get just the fender painted and blended, it still would probably be of the same quality as the wrap at many times the cost. I may end up wrapping the entire car in that color if the mismatch annoys me that much, but I for one really don't put a whole lot of emphasis on how a car looks, and it sounds like it is really darn close anyway.
I have ordered a sample just to get an idea but I think I will plan on getting this fender straightened out and wrap over the panel once the weather lightens up a bit. I will also be sure to share some pictures of the end result as well.
Maybe compare cost to buying good used fender in correct color?
You'd lose the matching vin, so there's that issue.
Finding one local might be the difficulty. Not a common color, and shipping cost would be dealbreaker. But if you found one, might be cost effective and only compromise being vin decal.
Not sure whose car color we're discussing at present. Or is it cars (plural)? @jasonn Your posted car color is Silverstone so Sebring Silver ain't gonna match. Not sure about the other guys looking for a "silver color."

I've been looking for months haha! Lots of Silverstone available, but no Sebring. I do live near a company that parts out S2Ks (aautosolutions) and they have not been able to find anything either. The other alternative is buying a new, unpainted fender for ~$350 from Honda and wrapping it with the Avery film recommended in this thread.
I would like to avoid removing the fender if at all possible as they never line up right but it will depend on what the body shop thinks they can do with straightening mine out... and for how much $$. It already has replacement front and rear bumpers (or at least has missing vin tags) so mismatched tags are not the end of the world... its a 120k mi driver after all and will never be collector grade.
For whatever its worth, I also ordered a sample of the Avery film and am blown away at how close the color is under various types of lighting. I think I will be very satisfied with the match, especially for how much of a value it is.
Hey guys, finally got around to wrapping my j's rep lip.
Honestly the Avery is 95% identical to Sebring. Definitely worth the purchase if you're looking for an alternative to painting. I bought a 5x10ft roll for about $120 Canadian, which was enough to wrap my lip, trunk and have a lot leftover wrap for redos.
Avery wrap is pretty easy to use and I'm saying that as a beginner wrapper.
I did make a lot of mistakes but from a distance it's unnoticeable
