Default shift knob

hey dudes!

is there not a shift knob material that is immune to scratching? i think i've owned one before but i have no idea what it was. the reason is i don't take-off my rings.

TIA

i have Rick's voodoo pearl shift knob. No scratches so far. I think because my shift knob is coated.

i have the rick's spun aluminum and it has soaked up quite a bit of character, getting all scratched up from my ring.

i was surprised, i thought the knob would beat up on the white gold, not the other way around.

thanx for the replies!

i thought there was some material that you could 'scratch', but it just rubs off and is uncoated.

maybe i just dreamed about it?

After about a year of daily use i can tell you that my Team Voodoo Textured Black knob has minor scratches that you can't even tell, although i wear a quite big ring.
