I have a voodoo, and know Ryan "moddiction" personally and asked him to try one out, being I noticed all the hype of his knobs and thought "its just a shift knob" He let me try one out after two minutes of driving with it I swapped back to my voodoo cause I couldn't believe the difference was caused by just his knob. It shifts so much smoother with the extra weight its crazy. Needless to say I picked one up asap.

Moddiciton knob ftw

^Just and FYI my newer design shift knobs now are completely height adjustable as they are opened wider to allow 2 nuts to be adjusted on the shifter lever and hidden inside the shift knob to completely adjust the height.
nice design improvement.

i guess that's what i get for being an early buyer...

I don't know what happened to my post but here it goes again.
I went with skunk2 because it's close to the OEM shape. I'm sure Moddiction one is great too because of the many good reviews I've read, but I'm not a fan of the ball shape knobs and that's why I chose skunk2.

Regardless of which one you pick, I think it should be one of the first mods people do when they buy their S. I bought mine almost 2 yrs ago and was never satisfied with the shifting, specially 2nd to 3rd. I even went and changed the transmission fluid with new Honda MTF, but did not feel a difference. Once I put on the heavier shift knob, everything changed, the shifts are so much smoother...feels like a brand new car, and I feel like I'm enjoying my S even more now.

I'd love someone (Moddiction) to do an exact copy of the optional Honda aluminum one, but in stainless steel. I am considering the Skunk one too, but I really like the aluminum one that I have, I just wish it were heaver and sat a bit lower. Just my 2cents.

^That is the next type of shift knob I will be making after the titanium ball style one is released. A type R sort of style one but in stainless and countersunk nice and low!

moddiction knobs are too shiny for the finish but the shape, weight looks good. I would go for the twm for the extra weight.

I currently use the voodoo but I don't like the finish for the knob. I got to be more picky on the finish of the knob than the weight or height.

Heavy knobs give the car a more solid feel when shifting and the voodoo or titanium knobs feels too light for my taste.
