Seems like too many people are obsessed with how a shift knob looks and prioritize that over what really matters. I don't give a damn about burnt titanium or any of that crap that raises the price 200%. As long as it's weighted to my liking and feels good I'm all for it.

Arc titanium ball. I have one in all 3 of my cars and I love them.

I have 4 shift knobs that I change out periodically - Rick's spun AL and a Ti knob, a SOS Zardinie knob and a black delrin piston shaped knob. I have the Ti shift knob installed at this time.

I had a WC LatheWerks copoly sphere which I loved on my old WRX, so I ended up ordering one of the same for my S. It's amazing how much difference a fraction of an inch of height makes on the shifter in this car. The knob by itself was very notchy, but after I shimmed it up with the stock lock nut it's quite smooth. It's still a little light, though, so I'm kinda wishing I'd gone with the steel version of the knob, or the SoS Zanardi replica.

If I'm going to spend like 150+ on my car, it won't be in knob form

Just checked out the site.

Anyone know of any other manufacturers that make taller than stock knobs?
